Sanguis City is a form of afterlife. For those souls who get lost in life or death and have nowhere to go. They end up in Sanguis City. (Imagine it like a planet that all those helium balloons land on). The city is a huge metropolis in four districts, The residential, the “esher” district, the buisness distict, and Shreds.
Due to a crisis involving vampires, over time half the city’s population have been turned immortal, causing a massive overpopulation problem. There is nowhere uninhabited in the city. For comfort, makeshift floors (usually wooden planks) were put between the skyscraper buildings to split the whole city into two levels, so that the lower half would always be dark for the vampire population.
In the exact centre of the city is a small square, with a fountain in the centre and small shops around the edges. It’s small, and unimpressive compared to the gigantic buisness/retail district, but it is the exact centre of the city.
